The terrorist Houthi militia pushed with all its weight after the arrest of the twenty-year-old young artist, Intisar Al-Hammadi, and a group of her colleagues while she was going to work to complete a photo session.  To the trial square after unfair accusations were fabricated against her in order to give the case a legal status.

According to the data, the incident did not take any form of a normal trial. The militia kept delaying and transferring the victim from one detainee to another.  She ended up in the "Central Prison" after media and human rights pressures, and the trick was done to turn the case into a criminal one.

At first, the brown-haired girl, born to a Yemeni father and an Ethiopian mother, believed that a mistake had been made during the arrest and would be corrected, and that these procedures would not take more than a few hours or perhaps minutes, but it has been almost two years until today.

Al-Hammadi was arrested on February 20 last year, that is, nearly 22 months ago, on charges that were described as unfair and shamefully fabricated, according to many followers of the case, and she is still suffering to this day.

Resumption of the trial

Yesterday, the Court of Appeal in Sana'a announced that it would hold its first session in the city, which is under the control of Iran's terrorist arm, next Sunday, January 1, 2023. This comes after the initial ruling that had ruled that Al-Hammadi and one of her female companions be imprisoned for 5 years, and another for three years.

Many questions have been raised and still are.  In addition to the continuous claims by the organizations and the girl's family, and the pleadings made by the lawyers, all of this failed to obtain an acquittal in an incident that the militia turned into a case of shame and linked it to its defeats on the fronts.

According to organizations, media, and lawyers, the arrest was accompanied by a lot of injustice and defamation against Al-Hammadi, and accusing her of possessing and using prohibited substances and drugs and spreading prostitution and immorality.

Human rights organizations accused the militia of having issued unfair sentences.  In addition to the moral injustice that happened;  Such as the publication of the quartet names of the convicts in the media, contrary to what the authorities claimed to be keen on the reputation of the four girls, and contrary to the established customs.

The victim was also left vulnerable to blackmail inside the central prison by the prison officials, and an attempt to force her to sign statements while she was blindfolded, and she was recently subjected to beatings until her nose was broken.  In addition to other tools of psychological and physical torture and depriving her of visitation and all her rights, at least as an accused.
