Ibn Mubarak appointed the sister of a terrorist accused as a "political official" at the Yemeni embassy in Washington

 A government source said that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has appointed the sister of an accused with links to Al-Qaeda, to the position of political official at the Yemeni embassy in the United States.

The source told NewsYemen that (Intisar Al-Humayqani), appointed by a decision of Foreign Minister Ahmed bin Mubarak, to the position of political official at the Yemeni embassy in Washington, has brought her brother, accused of belonging to Al-Qaeda, to the United States.

He added that Al-Humayqani had earlier helped smuggle her brother from the United States to Canada, pointing out that the Canadian authorities had arrested him and imprisoned him on charges of belonging to a terrorist organization.

The source indicated that the brother of the "political official at the Yemeni embassy in Washington" is still detained by the Canadian security authorities until today.
