Aden, NewsYemen:

Three members of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula were killed yesterday (, in the ranks of the terrorist Houthi militia, in the Marib Governorate, southeast of Yemen.

Security sources told NewsYemen that three al-Qaeda leaders working with the Houthis were killed, on Tuesday, on the Marib fronts: "Rami Ayesh al-Dhahab, Muhammad Khaled al-Dhahab and Ahmed Muhammad Musleh al-Dhahab."

The sources indicated that the three dead were originally leaders of Al-Qaeda, but they recently joined the ranks of the terrorist Houthi militia.

This comes days after the "burial" of the Houthi militia, a prominent terrorist leader accused of bombing the US destroyer (USS Cole), after it had drawn him to its ranks and granted him a high position in Sanaa.

The Houthi militia confessed to the killing of Aref Saleh Ali Majali, a leader in al-Qaeda, and one of the defendants, along with his brother-in-law (Fawaz al-Rubaie), in the bombing of the US destroyer (USS Cole) off Aden.

The Houthis had appointed Majali to the position of deputy governor of Sanaa, and assigned him the task of mobilizing al-Qaeda elements to fight in their ranks, and he is also one of those responsible for coordinating the rapprochement between them and the organization.
