Parliamentary: Marib authorities continue to arrest and imprison the leaders of the conference

A prominent parliamentarian said, on Sunday, that the authorities of the city of Ma'rib, loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood, continue to arrest cadres and members of the General People's Congress.

The MP for the Popular Congress Party, Ali Mosad al-Lahbi, stated in his account on "Twitter" that officials in Marib are repeatedly arresting the men of the Congress.

 He stressed that the conference leaders who enter the city of Ma'rib are subjected to assault, arrest and imprisonment.

In the context of his tweet, Representative Al-Lahbi asked: "What is the cause of this hatred and why do these actions that generate revenge continue, even after a while?"  As he put it.
