Within two months, 49 civilians were killed or wounded, who were targeted by Iran's arm in Hodeidah

14 civilians were killed and 35 others were injured, including women and children, by the Houthi terrorist militia fire, during the first two months of the current year 2021, as the districts of Al-Mocha, Al-Tuhaita, Al-Durahimi, Al-Hawk and Al-Hodeidah topped the list of civilian casualties, according to a medical source on the West Coast.

The source confirmed that from the beginning of January to late February, the hospitals received about 49 civilians, including 15 women and 3 children, who were injured or killed by Houthi weapons fire.

Source explained that among the victims, 14 civilians, including 6 women, were killed affected by their wounds, 8 of whom were injured by shrapnel and 5 others due to the explosion of mines and one shot.  

The number of wounded reached 35 civilians, including 9 women and 3 children. 

Of the total number of wounded, 15 civilians were wounded by shrapnel from projectiles, 7 by explosive objects, and 13 by weapons of various calibres, according to the same source.

According to the source, most of the wounded were described as seriously ill, and they were transferred to hospitals in Aden Governorate and Doctors Without Borders in the city of Mocha, after first aid was provided to them in field hospitals on the West Coast.
