On Monday, the Director General of Al-Mocha Directorate, Abdulrahim Al-Fateh, inaugurated the Family Counseling and Psychological Support Center in Mocha, along with the Director General of the Center, Dr. Kamel Ahmed.
Al-Fateeh expressed his great happiness at the projects of Deem, and its strategic objectives that meet the needs of the directorate and are in line with the plans of the local authority.
He said that the war that the Houthi militia is practicing against the Yemeni people has not only caused its inferno on private and public property, but also left psychological effects that destroy the family's social fabric for several generations to come unless these effects are addressed, again thanking Deem organization for being proactive in developing these visions and treatments.
At the same time, Al-Fateeh honored the second batch of beneficiaries of the economic empowerment project in safe spaces for women and girls from poor families, with encouraging sums provided by the local council for each beneficiary, certificates of appreciation and a sewing machine with bags that included fabrics and other accessories provided by Deem as part of the project that provides The beneficiaries also have training courses in sewing and embroidery.
For his part, the Director of the Center for Family Counseling and Psychological Support, Kamel Ahmed, said that the moral support provided by the local authority to the organization had an effective role in the success of these projects.
The director of the directorate, along with the director of the Psychological Support Center, toured the free center departments, which included a laboratory section, an EEG department, a psychiatrist clinic, a social worker’s office, a psychological counseling office, and on the side of it an internal pharmacy, in addition to a psychological isolation clinic, while the backyard of the center is equipped with a garden for recreation and psychological recreation. contemplative.
