Boubaker, in his appeal published by the Thura Front Media Center, demanded that "all the parties in the liberated governorates in general and in the governorate of Abyan and the central region in particular, leave the differences aside and head towards the Thar front, being the most important and is the gateway to the south that the militias seek with all their might to seize."

According to field sources, the militias have in recent days pushed large combat groups and armed reinforcements containing artillery, Katyusha rocket launchers, troop carriers, and tanks.
