Aden, NewsYemen:

On Sunday, the Specialized Criminal Court in the capital, Aden (southern Yemen), returned the file of the assassination of the commander of the 35th Armored Brigade in Taiz, Brigadier General Adnan Al-Hammadi, to the Public Prosecution to complete the investigation procedures.

Earlier today (Sunday), the Specialized Criminal Court, in Aden, held a trial session for the defendants in the case of the assassination of Brigadier General Al Hammadi, in Taiz.

The court decided to return the case file to the Public Prosecution to complete and investigate all the instigators and all those associated with the assassination case, whether they were ordinary or legal persons.

The specialized criminal decision reflected explicit references to the manipulation that accompanied the investigation process, with the aim of diluting the case and covering up those involved in the crime.

It is scheduled that leaders in the Taiz axis and the Islah Party in Taiz will be summoned for interrogation of incitement against Brigadier General Al-Hammadi and those involved in the assassination.

Brigadier General Adnan Al-Hammadi was assassinated on December 2, 2019, at his home in the countryside of Taiz, in a crime that bore the hallmarks of the Islah party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.
