Al-Zubaidi: Facilitating the movement of organizations and transferring them to the capital of legitimacy

 A member of the Presidential Leadership Council, head of the Southern Transitional Council, stressed today, Sunday, that  On facilitating the movements of international organizations and transferring their headquarters to the capital, Aden. He also discussed the financial conditions of the Ministry of Interior and the salaries of those affiliated with the security services.

This came during two separate meetings, with Major General Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, with the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badeeb, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Human and Financial Resources Affairs, Major General Abdullah Yahya Jaber.

In his meeting with the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badheeb, a member of the Leadership Council stressed the importance of "transferring and opening the headquarters of international organizations to and in the capital, Aden", "as the country's capital and the seat of the internationally recognized legitimate government."

Al-Zubaidi urged to raise the degree of coordination with local authorities and security services to facilitate the movement of staff of organizations and international missions in the capital, Aden, and the rest of the governorates, which are in dire need of the urgent interventions provided by these organizations.

He also called for intensifying communication with organizations to achieve this goal within the "medium and long plans and development programs, in a way that contributes to lifting the country from its current situation."

In the meeting, Badeb Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the activity of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, and the efforts it is making in coordinating with supporting international organizations, developing cooperation relations with them, and building relationships with new parties with the aim of providing more financial and technical support for development projects. 

He listened to a brief explanation of the projects implemented by the Arab Fund for Development, a number of international organizations and supportive parties in the road sector, and the rehabilitation of infrastructure for educational and academic institutions, electricity, and health in the capital, Aden and the liberated governorates, and the most prominent difficulties they face, and ways to solve them.

In addition, Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Human and Financial Resources Affairs, Major General Abdullah Yahya Jaber, on the progress of work in the human and financial resources sector in the ministry, and the efforts made to improve the performance of the sector and develop its mechanisms to keep pace with the developments of the stage.

In the meeting, Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of exerting more efforts to arrange and organize the human and financial resources sector in the ministry to ensure the regular payment of the security forces’ dues and to overcome the imbalances witnessed in the past period, stressing the support and backing of the Presidential Leadership Council for the efforts made by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Human and Financial Affairs to ensure access to the salaries of members of the security units are paid to their beneficiaries in a way that contributes to alleviating their suffering and improving their living conditions.
