"The Tanki Promise" .. The Houthis' review between irony and caution
English - Sunday 04 September 2022 الساعة 03:28 pmThe review of Iran's military arm in the city of Hodeidah caused mixed reactions between a cynical and skeptical party, and another warning against underestimating Iranian missiles.
The Iranian arm in the fifth region of Hodeidah (Thursday) displayed missiles and weapons as part of its military parade called "The Promise of the Hereafter."
Activists on social media mocked the Houthi parade, calling it "Waad al-Tanki", indicating that the missiles that were displayed are nothing but empty models.
Military expert Waddah Al-Aubali questioned the transverse missiles, pointing out that it is not possible to display weapons in this way.
He explained in a Facebook post, that the average weight of the smallest winged missile is about 3.7 tons, and the missile cannot balance on 2 thin legs, such as the ones that appeared in the Houthi show.
Al-Aubali concluded that the missiles reviewed by Al-Houthi are models aimed at deceiving his supporters, incubators and the general public, as well as targeting his opponents psychologically and in the media.
He stressed that "such methods cause a great deal of ridicule towards the group in front of specialists."
Next, activists warned of Iranian weapons smuggled to the Houthis, and of underestimating its danger
Journalist Abdul Salam al-Qaisi said, "The missiles that hit Marib are not plastic, and that hit Aden airport, and that hit the port of Mocha are not Zanj, but missiles that killed thousands of people."
He added that these are "real missiles that are very dangerous, mines that can threaten global navigation, and various terrorism."
He stressed that "what the priesthood showed is true, and caution must be exercised, and the world must determine its position on this evil that perpetuates and displays on land and at sea."
He added, "It is stupid to deny this about the priesthood and to disregard what it presents."
