Aden, NewsYemen:

The United Nations Mission in Support of the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) confirmed, on Tuesday evening, information published by NewsYemen in the context of previous news, that Iran's arm had sent large forces to the coastal city in western Yemen.

On Tuesday evening, the mission expressed its deep concern about the large military presence in the city of Hodeidah, calling on the Houthis to respect the Stockholm provisions and refrain from escalation.

The UN mission said, in a brief statement on its Twitter account: "The UNMHA mission noted with great concern the large military presence in the city of Hodeidah during the past days."

It added: "Hodeidah must remain free of military appearances, as was agreed upon in Stockholm."

The UN mission urged the Houthi leadership to respect the terms of the Hodeidah Agreement and to refrain from actions that might contribute to the escalation, for the benefit of all Yemenis.

Last Friday, special sources told NewsYemen that the Houthi militia had mobilized fighters from its areas of control to the city of Hodeidah.

The sources added that Iran's arm is preparing to organize a major military parade in the city, with the participation of warplanes for the first time.
