Houthi movements to amend the House of Representatives regulation and establish a separatist reality in the north
English - Monday 29 August 2022 الساعة 04:35 pmParliamentarian Ahmed Seif Hashid revealed new moves by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, to amend the Sana'a version of Parliament's bylaw, which is headed by Yahya al-Ra'i.
Hashed said, in a post on his Twitter account, "A new coup began today with the presentation of the Presidency of the Sana'a Council of Representatives with a proposal to amend the council's bylaw, which is considered the law of the Council."
He explained that this amendment aims to legitimize the decision of the President of the Political Council that is contrary to the constitution and the law regarding the adoption and work of the Hijri calendar, stressing that this is a partial amendment with distinction that establishes in fact the existence of a separatist entity in the north.
Hashid also revealed that today the Supreme Political Council, the government and the Judicial Council were scheduled to attend the Sana'a House of Representatives, but late at night the above was cancelled.
He added, "However, it is noticeable that the Vice-President of the Political Council, Sadiq Amin Abu Ras, was not informed of the apology, who attended the council this morning."
Representative Hashid affirmed that the Unity Medal between the Presidency of the Sanaa House of Representatives and the Political Council for the Re-election of the Presidency, in fact, is a flagrant separatist legislation with distinction, pointing out that the unity united them, meaning the unity of the two bodies and not the unity of Yemen.
