Al-Anad has been without electricity for 15 days, and Lahj governorate accuses fuel and wind

 The power outage has continued in the city of Al-Anad, north of Lahj governorate, for 15 days, and this has doubled the suffering of the population, especially women and children, with a hot summer in the city this August.

According to the residents, since the beginning of August, the power has been cut off for 3 consecutive days. Whenever the citizens wanted to know the reasons, officials in the governorate’s electricity told them that the reason was running out of fuel, and after the three days, the justification became the wind.

And the electricity is still cut off in the city of Al-Anad, without knowing the circumstances of this outage until now.

According to the citizens of Newsymen, the city suffers from tampering with the service, which may be cut off or separated from many lanes from the main transformers, the fuses are diverted, and the random connections to workshops and homes are increasing.

Abdel Nasser Al-Amiri said, "The problem of the city of Al-Anad is complex, especially in the field of electricity, where no development has occurred and the interruption is continuous, and the population has nothing in their hands to stop what is going on in the mess.  Inside the city of Al-Anad itself.

The residents demand the Electricity Corporation to stop the abuses and interferences in the electricity activity.

They also appealed to the governor of Lahj governorate to intervene and save their city, which lacks the minimum elements of urban planning and management.
