In the coming days, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, will start a new tour that includes a number of countries in the region, in an effort to extend the fragile humanitarian truce in the country for a second time.
And media sources reported that Grundberg's tour will include the Sultanate of Oman, to meet with Omani officials and the negotiating delegation of the terrorist Houthi militia.
The international envoy's tour also includes the capital, Aden (southern Yemen), to meet with the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and officials in the legitimate government.
The Swedish diplomat is seeking to obtain approvals to extend the fragile humanitarian truce, which is about to expire, for an additional 6 months, although the Houthi militia has not yet implemented any of its obligations under the agreement.
