A local study center said that the success of the Presidential Leadership Council depends on bringing about real change within the government, and moving away from creating temporary pragmatic balances that may not be permanent.
This came according to a report issued by the "Madarat Center for Strategic Studies and Research", based in Marib, in which it addressed the challenges that might weaken the council's political and economic orientations.
The report said that parties participating in the Presidential Leadership Council are strengthening their illegal presence, igniting conflicts and crises, practicing chaos, and trying to impose their agenda, which is based on monopolizing power, looting resources, confusing the new political reality and weakening any change.
He stressed the need for the Council to reform the reality of policies, end violations of the job, political and economic tampering, and get out of the quota map.
The report pointed out that the Muslim Brotherhood, during the period of former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour, took control of the legitimacy decision and strengthened its presence in the government and its civil, security, military and economic institutions.
He said that the Brotherhood (the Islah Party) worked from within Hadi's authority to fight and exclude other parties, warning that the Brotherhood would not accept any move by the Presidential Leadership Council to bring about real reforms and put an end to the tampering within the government and its institutions.
He stressed the need for the Council to make a broad governmental change, and to put an end to the Brotherhood's seizure of state resources in the liberated governorates and collecting them to the Central Bank.
