 The spokesperson for the Southern Transitional Council, Ali Al Kathiri, recalled the heroic epics fought by the people of Aden and the south in general, which culminated in defeating the terrorist Houthi militia from the city.

Al Kathiri said, in a press statement, coinciding with the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Aden: "On the anniversary of the liberation of Aden Al-Nour, we remember with pride the heroic epics fought by the people of Aden and the south in general, which culminated in defeating the Houthi invaders, as a starting point for liberating all southern governorates from the taint of Houthi militias and terrorist groups."

He added: "The memory is renewed and the pride is renewed for the great support and backing of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the countries of the Arab coalition in general, which was clearly demonstrated in the mixing of the blood of the people of the south and their brothers in the battles to liberate Aden and purify the southern governorates of the Houthi invaders and the tyrannical terrorist groups."
