Controlling the roads leading to the center of the Mahiliya district, south of Marib

Marib, NewsYemen:

 Today, the Yemeni army and tribes, backed by the Arab coalition, carried out a qualitative attack on Houthi militia sites in several areas south of Marib Governorate, after thwarting Houthi attacks towards Wadi Al-Mashreif Waheed Al Ahmed, where they were repelled and inflicted heavy losses on the attackers from the Houthi elements.  

Field sources in Marib confirmed that the army and tribes were able to liberate the entire district of Rahba, with continued progress towards the “Sadara” area on the outskirts of the Mahlia District, after controlling new sites in “Haid Al Hamad, Rahum and Al Hammam” and the sites of “Jabal Qubais,  And the shoulder mountain, and the sympathy area near the Mahiliya Najd.

The sources stated that all roads leading to the center of the Mahiliya Directorate of "Al-Sadara" are now under the fiery control of the army and tribes, and that the process of liberating the directorate and reaching the outskirts of the northern Al-Bayda districts has become a matter of time, and the implementation of the combat plans on the ground.

The fronts south of Marib witnessed the downing of two booby-trapped drones launched by the militias towards Rahba and Wadi al-Mashreif, as well as extensive removal of mines, explosives and explosive devices planted and left by the militias in the liberated Rahba district.

On the fronts west of Ma’rib, the army and tribes forces repelled an attack launched by the Houthi militia on their positions on the “Al-Mushajah, Al-Kasara and Al-Zour” fronts, and incurred great losses, as combat mechanisms were destroyed and many Houthi elements were killed. More than 63 bodies were counted, including two Houthi leaders those who belong to Saada governorate are "Colonel Yaqoub Nasser Al-Jumri, and Colonel Muhammad Yahya Al-Daani".
