Lamlas: We are keen to restart Aden TV

Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, Governor of the capital, Aden, affirmed the local authority's keenness to provide all aspects of support to restart Aden TV.

Lamlas, during his visit, on Wednesday, to the Aden Radio and Television Building, praised the efforts and efficiency of local engineers from the television cadres in completing a lot of work and re-equipping a number of facilities in record time.

The governor was briefed on the readiness of the news studio and the TV library and the efforts to convert them from the normal archive to the modern digital, and heard from the supervising team and the TV cadres and engineers the most prominent problems facing the completion of all the restoration works of the building in its various departments, offices and administrative units.

The local authority in the capital, Aden, had taken charge of the expenses of restoration and maintenance and equipping the entire television facilities without any significant support from the government represented by the Ministry of Information.
