Aden, NewsYemen:

On Saturday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, ousted a minister in its government, who hails from Shabwa governorate (south), days after he had a dispute with his deputy, who hails from the northern governorate of Saada.

Houthi-speaking media reported that Houthi leader Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the so-called "Supreme Political Council", issued a decision appointing Ahmed Al-Ali as Minister of Electricity and Energy to replace Abbar.

The decision to overthrow Minister "Abbar" came three days after his deputy, Abdul Ghani al-Madani, prevented him from entering his office and attending a meeting with the deputy prime minister of the unrecognized Houthi government, Hassan Makbouli.
