The joint forces thwarted a Houthi attack south of Hodeidah

Hodeidah, NewsYemen:

 A number of members of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, were killed and wounded, on Saturday, in clashes with the joint forces, in Al-Durayhimi district, south of Al-Hodeidah Governorate.

Military sources said that clashes erupted with various weapons after an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia, in Al-Durayhimi, south of Hodeidah.

It confirmed that units of the joint forces resolved the clashes in about an hour, killing a number of Houthi militia members, and capturing one.

He pointed out that the Houthi militia left the dead bodies of its members in the areas of engagement, after they retreated under the pressure of the joint forces' fire.
