The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Waed Bathib, said that the United States included Yemen in the first allocation plan to distribute 25 million doses of vaccine against the emerging coronavirus "Covid-19" worldwide.
Badeb explained, "The Ministry of Planning has been informed of the inclusion of Yemen in the American plan to distribute the Corona vaccine," according to the "Saba" agency.
He stressed that his ministry is seeking to provide the required number of vaccines and mobilize the necessary support to combat the pandemic, including the provision of equipment and supplies.
He pointed out, "The Ministry of Planning is currently in talks to mobilize additional funding from the World Bank, estimated at $19 million."
