Taiz, NewsYemen:

Tuesday Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan issued a decision to suspend two general managers on charges of corruption and disrupting public institutions in the governorate.

According to the decision, the Governor of Taiz ordered the arrest of the Director General of the Transportation Office, Muhammad Ahmed Al-Naqib, and the Director General of the Electricity Office, Aref Ghaleb Abdul Hamid Al-Sabri, and assigning others to carry out their duties.

This decision comes a day after the local authority referred files of Al-Sabri and Al-Naqib to the Public Funds Prosecution, in implementation of popular pressures calling for the dismissal of spoilers in government offices and institutions.

Popular demonstrations took place during the past few days, calling for the state leadership to put an end to the chain of corruption in the governorate, which is under the control of the Islah party, the branch of the terrorist Brotherhood in Yemen.
