Southern Transitional Council: Implementation of the Riyadh Agreement is a safe way out for all

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council affirmed, on Monday, the council's keenness to make the Riyadh Agreement a success, as it is a safe way out for all from the complex situation in the liberated southern governorates, and unites efforts to confront the Iranian project, which poses a real threat to the security and stability of the region.
This came during a periodic meeting held by the authority, headed by Maj. Gen. Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, head of the council, and in the presence of representatives of the "transitional" in the equal government.
The commission valued the serious moves of the brothers in Saudi Arabia to discuss the implementation of the remaining provisions of the Riyadh Agreement, in light of which the head and members of the council’s negotiating delegation left for Riyadh, ensuring the return of the equal government to the capital, Aden, and performing its tasks in securing services for citizens, and working to extricate the country from its collapsed economic situation.
It discussed the deterioration of services, especially the continuous power cuts, and reiterated the commitment of the Southern Transitional Council to take serious action to alleviate the suffering of citizens, and to strive to increase the generation capacity in the coming weeks.
The authority also commended the efforts made by the local authority in the capital, Aden, led by Governor Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, to rescue the electricity sector from its tragic situation.
The Presidency of the Transitional Council saluted "the steadfastness of the southern forces in the face of various political, economic, security and military challenges targeting the south economically, militarily, and politically, contrary to what was included in the Riyadh Agreement, which was signed under Saudi sponsorship, with Arab, regional and international support," according to the council's official website.
