Aden, NewsYemen:

Researcher and politician Saeed Bakran said, "The voices and screams that we hear about Socotra, whether from the Houthis or the Brotherhood, originate from one Iranian-Turkish axis, whose aim is to thwart the Arab alliance in the region."

Bakran explained in a television interview that "Socotra Island is the focus of a major conflict, because the island's strategic location controls important parts of the Arab region," stressing that "the Brotherhood was planning to control it with anti-coalition forces that have ambitions in the region."

"The Muslim Brotherhood does not have a problem if Turkey is the one who is present militarily on the island," he added.

He pointed out that the Arab coalition faces a great challenge against regional ambitions and projects that it seeks to seize within its influence in the region.

Bakran said, "The presence of the Arab coalition forces in the Yemeni strategic areas has caused great pain to the Muslim Brotherhood and the forces supporting them."
