The Egyptian expert, in the affairs of extremist groups, Maher Farghali, stressed that there is no difference between the Yemeni Brotherhood and terrorist organizations, indicating that the goal between them is common.
Farghali said in a statement to Al-Ghad Al-Mashriq channel, that there are no differences between the Yemeni Brotherhood as an ideology and strategy, and between terrorist organizations, considering that "the goal is one according to a regional project to create chaos in a way that facilitates them to establish an authority or an emirate.
The Egyptian expert stated that the Brotherhood is using terrorist organizations for its benefit in the regions of southern Yemen.
He explained that the Islah Party, the Yemeni branch of the Brotherhood, had a strategy in 2014, which is to dialogue with the Houthis and evacuate cities and regions in exchange for preserving the economic gains and Brotherhood institutions located in Sanaa and other areas, and then withdrawing from the north in favor of the Houthis.
He continued: "Islah grabbed the stick from the center with the doves wing of the party in cooperation with the coalition and the hawks wing cooperating with the Houthis, and after that the Brotherhood cooperated with terrorist organizations to create chaos and prolong the war in return for the Brotherhood's control over a number of Yemeni regions."
The Egyptian expert said, "The threats issued by al-Qaeda in southern Yemen come in clear coordination with Brotherhood leaders."
