An official in the "Abyan belt" was wounded by gunmen

A leader in the Security Belt Forces was injured in the Abyan governorate, southern Yemen, on Sunday, after he was shot in the "Loder" district by gunmen believed to be affiliated with Al-Qaeda.
Security sources told NewsYemen that gunmen shot the leader of the security belt forces, "Ali al-Saghir" while he was leaving his house in the Kahraba district.
It added that al-Saghir was wounded in the attack and taken to a hospital in the city, while the gunmen took refuge in the nearby mountains.
