On Sunday, the coalition announced that it had intercepted and destroyed an explosive drone launched by the Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia.

The coalition said, in a statement, that "its forces managed to destroy a booby-trapped Houthi drone towards the city of Khamis Mushait, southwest of Saudi Arabia."

The coalition added, "We are taking the necessary operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects from hostile attempts."

Hours earlier, the Arab coalition refuted, on Saturday, the lies of the Houthi militia about carrying out a military operation on the borders of the city of Jizan.

The spokesman for the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said that the Houthi militia's claim to carry out a military operation on the borders of the city of Jizan is a media fabrication.

Al-Maliki added that the Houthi militia is fabricating fake victories with the aim of calming popular anger in the areas they control in Yemen.

He confirmed that the Houthi militia is suffering great losses in personnel and equipment in the governorates of Ma'rib and Al-Jawf in Yemen.

Colonel Turki Al-Maliki said that "more than 4000 military vehicles belonging to the Houthi militia were destroyed within 6 months."

On Saturday, the Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, thwarted an imminent hostile attack using two booby-trapped boats in the south of the Red Sea.

The coalition confirmed that its forces had succeeded in destroying two Houthi militia boats off the port of Salif before carrying out a hostile operation.

The coalition has always affirmed that the Houthi militia's attempts are systematic and deliberate hostility to target civilians and civilian objects.
