Armed clashes around a shopping center in Sana'a

Sana'a, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

 Armed clashes broke out at noon on Saturday May 29, 2021, around a shopping mall in the center of the capital, Sanaa.

According to local sources and eyewitnesses who spoke to (NewsYemen), an armed group surrounded the (Sama Mall) mall, and an exchange of fire took place between the armed group and the guarding of the mall.

According to preliminary information, businessman Samir Abdel Karim al-Ahmar and 5 others were injured in the confrontations.

The commercial centers in Sanaa are subjected to continuous extortion by the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - and they are forced to pay royalties under many names and pretexts.
