The Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, announced on Saturday that it had thwarted an attack by the Houthi militia with two booby-trapped boats in the southern Red Sea.

The coalition said that it destroyed two booby-trapped boats off the port of Salif in Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen, before carrying out the hostile operation.

He pointed out that the Houthi militias continue to threaten shipping lanes and global trade.
