The spokesman for the National Resistance, a member of the Joint Command in the West Coast, Brigadier General Sadiq Dowiad, said that the plan for the Houthi attack that was thwarted in the city of Hodeidah reveals that the militia has had the opportunity to violate the agreement of the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
Brigadier General Dowaid said on his Twitter account: Thwarting the attack planned by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in the Hudaydah city’s view district confirms their indifference to the Stockholm Agreement, and gives them the opportunity to veto the agreement.
A spokesman for the National Resistance described the militia’s behavior as "not surprising and there is nothing new for a militia that has violated all the covenants and charters it has made."
On Wednesday, the joint forces thwarted an imminent land and sea attack prepared by the Houthi militia on the Mazhar neighborhood, south of the city of Hodeidah, with the aim of isolating the forces stationed there from the rest of the joint forces to the south.
The joint forces issued a statement in which it stated that an advanced Houthi reconnaissance officer had arrested him before giving him the signal to attack.
