The solar energy system for Al-Saeed School in the Mocha District was stolen, in an incident that adds more suffering to the school's students.

A private source stated to NewsYemen, that thieves took advantage of the absence of the school guard during the Eid vacation and stole the system consisting of four panels and four batteries, regulators and transformers belonging to the system.

He added that the NRC organization provided the system at the beginning of the year 2020 AD after it finished building five classrooms in the primary school that was destroyed in the Iranian arm war.

He explained that the energy system was soothing from the hot weather inside the crowded classrooms, noting that thieves also stole cleaning tools after breaking the classroom doors.

The school had been robbed of classroom doors by Houthi elements, shortly before the joint forces entered Mocha at the beginning of 2017.
