Aden, NewsYemen:

At a time when the people of Gaza were falling victim to the Israeli bombing, the so-called "axis of resistance" led by Iran adhered to the spectator stand, while Egypt moved with all its weight to work on an agreement to calm, in addition to opening the Rafah border crossing for the wounded Palestinians to enter to receive treatment on its lands.

"Arab Files" website said, in its Saturday report, that despite Iran's clear efforts to ignite the conflict, and its lack of an effective role for bloodshed, the heads of the "Hamas" and "Jihad" movements in Gaza were quick to thank Tehran for their support. After the ceasefire agreement entered into force, as an Egyptian achievement in the first place.

Iranian media quoted the Secretary of the Jihad Movement in Gaza, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, for his special praise of the role of the former commander of the former Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, for his huge support of the movement.

Al-Nakhalah saluted the Iranian Revolutionary Guard for its support of the movement and Gaza, which provoked mixed reactions on Twitter to condemn this.

The head of the political bureau of "Hamas", Ismail Haniyeh, today, Saturday, presented the results of the Gaza battle with the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Major General Hussein Salami, describing it as "the victory that was achieved" in the war, according to what Iranian media reported.

Haniyeh expressed his deep appreciation to Iran and its standing by the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, as he put it, as well as its firm stances towards its rights in various political and field fields, trying to falsify the facts as Tehran did not intervene except to inflame the situation.

He continued, "The field equation has changed, and the masses have moved throughout all of Palestine, and even outside it, to reject the occupation, its policies and practices."

Yesterday, Haniyeh claimed that Hamas won this round with Israel, stressing that Jerusalem is the focus of the conflict with Israel, and thanking Iran for providing weapons to Hamas in Gaza.

For his part, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hussein Salami, praised what he claimed to be "the achievement of the Palestinian resistance," saying: "This battle has what comes after it at various levels."

At dawn on Friday, and after about two weeks, the Gaza Strip suffered in them from the mutual bombardment with Tel Aviv. During the past hours, Egypt succeeded in reaching a calm in the Gaza Strip between Israel and the Palestinians, after huge mediation efforts with America.

Egypt announced the success of efforts to calm down in the Gaza Strip between Israel and the Palestinians, stressing that the truce is reciprocal and concurrent in Israel and Gaza, with the ceasefire in Gaza.

It said that it would send two security delegations to Tel Aviv to follow up on the ceasefire measures, as the agreement reached by Egyptian mediation came into effect at two o'clock on Friday morning, after 11 days of military escalation, the largest since 2014, as that decision was met with wide international praise.

For his part, US President Joe Biden appreciated the role of Egypt and other countries that helped reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, stressing: “I express my sincere gratitude to the Egyptian President and senior Egyptian officials who played a decisive diplomatic role, and I value the contribution of other parties in the region who have also worked for An end to the hostilities that have led to the death of many civilians, including children. I express my sincere condolences to all the Israeli and Palestinian families who lost their loved ones, and I hope that the wounded will recover quickly. "
