As expected, public opinion revealed the announcement of donations, the head of the Canaan Association for Palestine in Yemen, in the amount of 2.4 billion Yemenis in favor of the Palestinian cause - disclosing - the falsehood of the claims of the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - and the level of its auctions on the Palestinian cause and the slogans of support for Palestine and Holy Jerusalem.

 Hours after the "Canaan" Association announced, on Monday evening May 17, 2021 AD, that it would donate more than two billion Yemeni riyals (equivalent to 4 million dollars) for the benefit of Palestine, the leader in the ranks of the Houthi militia expressed his refusal to transfer from the association's account in Yemen, by the Cooperative Credit Bank. And agricultural (CAC Bank) for the benefit of the Palestinian cause.

In his tweet on Twitter monitored by (NewsYemen), Al-Houthi called on those wishing to donate to Palestine from the charities account to donate from the bank branches in the governorates of Ma'rib and Aden, confirming his group's acquisition of the funds and funds of the Canaan Association in Sanaa and the neighboring governorates, and publicly stripping the group before Public opinion and the Palestinian Authority before others.

In a press release, the Canaan Association for Palestine in Yemen said that Brigadier General Yahya Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, who heads the association, "announced a donation in the name of the Canaan Association for Palestine, Yemen, in an amount of 2 billion and 406 million 549 thousand and 436 riyals, in support of the Palestinians in the view of the elected Palestinian National Authority." .

The association confirmed: "The amount is ready for transfer from the association’s account in Yemen, by the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank) for the benefit of the Palestinian cause."

The Kanaan Association said in a statement that it would send an "official memorandum to the bank in Sanaa to transfer the money to the account of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Yemen so that it could transfer it to the Palestinian interior."

In a comment to him on (Facebook), political and media activist Kamil al-Khoudani asked why the rest of the charitable societies and institutions advocating for Palestine and Jerusalem do not follow the example of the Canaan Association and “announce its donation of the money in its accounts,” adding: Or is it afraid that people will know the size of the sums in its accounts? ".

In addition, the legitimate government accused the Houthi militias of exploiting the Palestinian cause in order to mobilize more recruits to fight the Yemenis and collect funds to be used for the benefit of the war effort.

Information Minister Muammar Al-Eryani warned residents in militia-controlled areas "against falling victim to exploitation and misinformation" by these militias.

In official statements, he explained that the militias "use the Palestinian cause and the tragedy of the steadfast Palestinian people in the occupied territories as material for trade and political and material gain, prolonging the war in Yemen, and continuing to kill Yemenis."
