Tuhayat, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

In the Al-Jabaliya area of the Tuhayat District, the displaced were surprised after their arrival, that there was no educational school. Fear for the future of the children led two young men to establish a classroom, as the beginning of a modest school, in order to teach the displaced children the basics of reading and writing.

The class, which includes about twenty male and female students, all of whom are in the first grade, is a small tent that was built quickly, as the two young men “Fadl Naaman and Futeny ” struggled to create that class by their own efforts.

Due to the shortage of the only semester in that region, the two young men are keen to divide the students into two stages, where they learn the basics of reading and writing, as well as mathematics, the Holy Quran and science.

Although Fadl and Futeny did not receive adequate education, as they studied until the seventh grade, they decided to continue educating the displaced students, fearing the loss of their academic future.

The two teachers hope from humanitarian organizations to develop their ambitious idea by providing textbooks and tools to help them continue their voluntary work to educate displaced children, as well as establish other classes.

Many of the displaced suffer from the inability of their children to enroll in educational schools, due to their remoteness or their destruction by the Houthi militia.
