"Newsymen" minister Withtlya Friday's platform confirms that the restaurant is part of the tools of war against the group under the pretext of freedom and interests, published by the news.

The Houthi authorities had ordered the closure of a fast and light food restaurant in Sana'a because of "the placement of images and colors contrary to our faith identity," according to the directive.

This came days after the director general of Sana'a state television, Abdul Rahman al-Abed, issued accusations that he "bears the name and logo of homosexuals in Sana'a".

"Rarely do anyone buy from him, visited by gay girls and young people, and some simple people who do not know the purpose, logo and colours of homosexuals," he said.

The directives caused its closure to be a campaign of ridicule and reopened two days after it was closed.

In discussions on the publication "Al-Abed", one reader warned him that the restaurant belonged to "Abdullah al-Dilmi", and al-Dilmi commented on the decision to close: "Basically, you don't do all the colors green and only."

The restaurant's management responded by expressing its "great dissatisfaction with the closure of the restaurant on Wednesday morning, 20-1-2021 by the Directorate of Unity", and said, "By following up on the reasons for the closure, it became clear to us that the reason for this was (the placement of paintings and pictures contrary to our Yemeni faith identity).

"We are committed to the values and principles of the Islamic religion and our opposition to any manifestations other than that," she said, calling on "the concerned and responsible authorities to reconsider the matter and to redress the abuse we suffered and our symptoms and to cause the loss of our livelihood under irrational and unfounded justifications."
