Head of the Studies Center: Marib Authority uses oil and gas revenues for currency speculation

The head of the Madari Center for Strategic Studies and Research, Hussein bin Sa` al-Ubaidi, said on Wednesday that the Marib authorities are using gas and oil revenues for currency speculation and personal gain.
Al-Ubaidi warned, in a tweet on his Twitter account, that "the collapse of the riyal will continue as long as the local authority in Marib is manipulating gas and oil revenues and using them for currency speculation and personal gain."
The head of the Madari Center for Strategic Studies and Research wrote: The collapse of the currency will continue as long as the Marib Bank and the Marib Local Authority together manipulate the revenues of gas and oil produced from Marib and use them for currency speculation and personal gain through exchange shops that they own as an alternative to government and commercial banks and seize the value of remittances and currency difference and transfer them to their own accounts
