Over the past years, the Houthi militia militia has implemented a package of measures to enhance its resources, relying on economic committees whose mission is to provide ideas, proposals and studies to create new financial resources available and directly implementable.

A source in the capital, Sanaa, said that the Houthi militia had assigned economic committees over the past years to develop studies and proposals to find financial resources to replace oil and gas revenues, grants and external loans, to be applicable, which was implemented during the past years.

He added that the economic committees aim to empower the Houthi militia from the largest public resources, stressing that the resources of the Houthi militia exceeded two trillion riyals during the past year 2019, most of which were not recorded in the records of the Ministry of Finance and National Accounts, and went into special accounts.
