63million of budget of Cleanliness Project disbursed to leaders of Islah Taiz

A source at the Finance Ministry in Taiz province revealed that the financial allowances of cleanliness in Taiz city were disbursed to leaders and activists of Islah Party, which caused the inability of the Cleanliness Project to do its work and clean the neighborhoods and streets of the city.
The source said that the financial amount spent for members of the Islah Party for past three months was given by the budget of the Local Authority and the Fund for Hygiene and Duties exceeded Y.R 63,000,000 under the name of travel tickets and exceptional subsidy and support for media figures and treatment bills.
The source pointed out that the disbursement of the allocations of the Hygiene Fund caused a paralysis of the Fund of cleaning and improvement which lead the garbage accumulation in Taiz.
The governor of Taiz on Sunday issued decisions instructing new leaders to run the Hygiene fund and the Cleanliness Project amid the media campaigns that escalated against the Local Authority because the accumulation of waste in Taiz streets.
