A Houthi leader stormed an office of the Chairman of the Shura Council in the Capital Sana'a Mohammed al-Aidarous, and confiscated the seal of the Council.
The Houthi leader Zayed al-Reyami, who is the secretary general of the Council, broke into al-Aidarous's office and took the seal; moreover, he closed the office with special locks, and prevented employees to return to the office.
Al-Reyami refused to recognize the Legitimacy of al-Aidarous, , although the latter was chosen as a President of the Council, replacing his former president Abdulrahman Mohammad Ali Othman, a consensus between the Houthi militias and the GPC in Sana'a.
However, "al-Reyami refused to do so, and still insists that he is the right to take over the office, because Al-Aidarous belongs to the GPC, while al-Reyami describes the GPC party as a traitorous party, which it, including the Party's members, must be uprooted, arrested and tried.
