The southern political analyst, Saeed Bakran, considered that the speech of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, has good points.
Bakran wrote on social media, "I am overjoyed that Al-Alimi was able to deliver a speech from Ma'ashiq," adding, "Why did you expect that even the speech would be forbidden or anything?"
He said, "In general, the speech has good points, including the recognition from Aden that the war of the summer of 94 was a sin that abolished the southern partner and left bad effects, from which the just southern cause was born, and a pledge to erase the effects of that barbaric war, return to partnership and respect the partner's options."
He continued, "The speech was devoid of the usual language of threats and provocation, the outcomes of dialogue and the imposition of ready-made projects, leaving the matter for consensus between the two partners."
He concluded, "But in the end, the speech remains speech, and the people had enough with words and are waiting for actions on the ground."
The speech received many southern comments, which welcomed what it described as realism and calm.
