The Southern Transitional Council reaffirmed the importance of the cohesion of the Presidential Leadership Council in order to carry out its tasks and responsibilities towards facing the challenges on the scene in the south and north, foremost of which is addressing the dangers and threats of the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen.

The Council stressed the need for the government to fulfill its responsibilities and duties in providing services and salaries, and the need to find a comprehensive reform process that affects the government and all state institutions and agencies, in a way that enhances its ability to perform, and enables the liberated governorates to manage their affairs and benefit from their capabilities.

This came during an extraordinary meeting held by the Presidency of the Transitional Council, the Supreme Executive Leadership, and the heads of the auxiliary bodies, headed by the President of the Council - member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi.

During the meeting, Al-Zubaidi noted the importance and sensitivity of the current stage, and the importance of concerted efforts to meet the necessary needs of our people, reaffirming that the relationship of the Southern Transitional Council with the brothers in the Arab coalition countries led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is strategic and pivotal in order to achieve common goals and interests and enhance security. and stability in the region.

The President of the Southern Transitional Council stressed the continuous communication with the Presidential Leadership Council, and the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, to discuss emergency files, especially with regard to services, salaries and the humanitarian aspect in our country, indicating the continuation of communication to come up with solutions during the next stage.

The meeting touched on security developments in the southern governorates in light of the escalation of terrorist acts by al-Qaeda in the governorates of Shabwa and Abyan, reaffirming the need to move forward in the fight against terrorism until its eradication and securing the entire homeland.
