The coast and valley of Hadramout.. An open war arena that swallows up the plans of the Brotherhood and the Houthis
English - Sunday 04 June 2023 الساعة 08:47 amHadramout governorate, with its coast and valley, has turned into an open battlefield to swallow the plans of the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, and behind them the terrorist Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen.
The Islah Party, through its activists, raises the slogan of unity in the capital, Aden, but at the same time supports the separation of Hadramout from its Yemeni and southern surroundings in a political schism that confirms this group's compliance with an external agenda that wants the situation in Yemen in general and the south in particular to remain in a state of chaos.
The terrorist Brotherhood group in Yemen is in a state of confusion regarding the changes in the political scene, especially in the liberated southern governorates, especially after the rapid steps of the Southern Transitional Council towards restoring the state in the south and putting an end to Iran's hegemony in the north and the impotence of legitimacy.
In conjunction with the success of the Southern National Dialogue and the declaration of the Honor Charter in early May, activists and politicians loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen launched expressions denouncing the southern alignment and demanding the preservation of unity, leading to announcing public support for the terrorist Houthi militia to invade the south, which was revealed by the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi in his speech on the anniversary of May 22, 2023.
Despite Al-Alimi’s acknowledgment of the grievances of the south and the legitimacy of the Transitional Council’s movements with the participation of members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the emphasis on the need for this move to be the beginning of a republican line-up to confront Iran’s hegemony in the north, the Brotherhood forces, through their activists in Turkey, Qatar and Oman, launched a campaign in which they accused Al-Alimi of high treason. In clear servitude to the Houthi militia, which directs the same accusation against its opponents.
After their failure to abort the transitional movements in Aden, the Brotherhood went with the support of the Houthis to turn Hadramout into a weapon to strike the southern project led by the Transitional Council, as it sought to revive the regionalism project that it failed to implement in Aden, Shabwa and Abyan, and it also fueled the movements of some Hadrami forces opposed to the transitional and promoting For its demands as a legitimate right, it refuses to grant it to southerners in the rest of the regions.
However, the convening of the sixth session of the Southern National Assembly of the Transitional Council in the city of Mukalla on May 22 had a great impact in delivering an important message to the political and military Brotherhood forces that Hadramout had decided to join the project of the southern state.
With the failure of their project in the Hadramout coast, the Brotherhood moved towards strengthening the ranks of its forces stationed in the Hadhramaut Valley under the name of the "First Military Region", while their activists abroad began issuing threats and warnings, in conjunction with news of sending Brotherhood elements from Ma'rib and Al-Jawf towards the camps of the first region in The valley in preparation for the upcoming battle.
These movements were accompanied by military defections, most notably the arrival of the director of the office of Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar in the province of Hodeidah and the commander of the Khokha and al-Jazar sector, Major General Abdul Hamid al-Nahari, to the Dhamar province, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.
Brotherhood sources confirmed that he had been present in Seiyun (the headquarters of the first military region) since the fall of the state in the hands of the Houthi militia, which means that there is coordination between the Brotherhood and the Houthis regarding making the Hadramout Valley an open battlefield against the southern forces with their various units affiliated with the Transitional Council and the giants or Shield of the Nation.
The Hadramout Valley has witnessed, during the past months, widespread popular protests calling for the replacement of the Elite Forces in the place of the First Region, which is accused of being behind the assassinations and terrorist operations taking place in the cities of the Valley and the desert of Hadramout, in addition to the transformation of the First Camps into a safe haven for extremist elements.
