Brigadier General Tariq Saleh: Democracy is the spirit of the age, and we must strive to return to the funds

Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, stressed the need to struggle to restore the emerging democratic experience in Yemen, away from the myth of guardianship and the allegations of the divine right of the Houthi dynasty.

This came in a tweet on his Twitter account, in which he congratulated Turkey on the success of the presidential and parliamentary elections.

Brigadier General Tariq Salih wrote: "Congratulations to the state and people of Turkey, and all congratulations to the winners and losers alike on the achievement of the parliamentary and presidential elections."

He added, "Democracy, pluralism, and competition are the spirit of the times, and it is unfortunate that Yemen has lost its position as a nascent democracy in light of the Iranian arm's control of our capital."

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council reaffirmed that "our duty is to fight until we return to the polls."
