Sana'a, NewsYemen, exclusive:

Two days after the Houthi militia incited against vaccines and considered it an (external conspiracy harmful to humanity), the House of Representatives in Sana’a reaffirmed, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, the obligation of the Ministry of Health, which is run by the Houthi militia, to implement a field campaign for immunization against measles and polio patients in  Sana'a and its neighboring governorates.

In light of the increasing recorded cases of polio, and the confirmation of the return of the epidemic that causes children to be disabled and prevented from moving and sometimes dying, nearly 14 years after its elimination, the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - organized on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, what it considered an awareness seminar that came under the title (The Danger of Vaccines to Humanity), claiming that vaccines are neither safe nor effective.

In the symposium, which included misleading information, the Houthi leader appointed to the position of Minister of Health in Sana'a questioned the feasibility and effectiveness of vaccines against various diseases and epidemics, and claimed that the vaccine (for the Ministry is not absolutely obligatory), contrary to the government's directions and programs that succeeded in eradicating some diseases through  Immunization through field visits to population centers and moving from one house to another.

In an implicit incitement against vaccines, the Houthi leader - who worked as a preacher in a mosque before placing him in the position of Minister of Health - said that whoever insists on the vaccine and demands it will be given the vaccine "provided that he bears the responsibility in knowing the negatives of things from their positives," as he put it.

Al-Mutawakel claimed that the coalition introduced polio to the northern and southern governorates, and claimed that the epidemic had recently begun in Ma'rib and Taiz, considering that (type II polio is an act of aggression against the Yemeni people).

He claimed that Yemen in the matter of vaccines, during the Corona pandemic, represented a model that dazzled the world, and claimed that this was achieved thanks to the directives of the group's leader, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, who claimed that he (was following up and directing on a daily basis to work with specific mechanisms and directives to confront the problem).

Among the directives of the Houthi militia, to confront the Covid-19 pandemic, the Houthi leader, Taha Al-Mutawakkil, revealed (that whoever wants the vaccine be granted and held responsible), and claimed (that Yemen has succeeded, thanks to God, in containing the disease through follow-up and a state of tranquility and reassurance).  In reference to the blackout policy adopted by the group during the pandemic.

In what is considered blackmail for international organizations and an indication of differences between the two parties, Al-Mutawakel claimed that the food aid provided by international organizations (white flour, oil, sugar) are deadly poisons and have serious health harms, as he put it.

According to the outcomes of the virtual symposium, the symposium, which was attended by Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, aimed at creating nutritional health awareness that confronts what it described as (the threats issued by Freemasonry and Western Zionism through its transcontinental companies, which the symposium claimed to manufacture medicines and vaccines harmful to all humanity, and claimed that they target our societies and our nation  Arab and Islamic through its control of these industries and the World Health Organization and others.

The death and infection of 230 children with polio in 10 months

Sources working in the health sector in Sana'a revealed to (NewsYemen) the death and infection of about 230 children with polio, as cases registered in hospitals (Sana'a, Saada, Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Al-Jawf, Amran, Marib, Al-Hodeidah, Abyan and Al-Dhalea) during the past 10 months.

It attributed the reasons for the spread of polio again, to the Houthi militia's promotion of rumors and misleading information, regarding preventive vaccines against diseases in general (external conspiracies), which harm children, claiming that the international organizations that provide these vaccines as humanitarian aid are targeting what they call the faith identity.

In a previous statement, the Director-General of the World Health Organization for the Eastern Mediterranean Region classified Yemen and Somalia among the high-risk countries, as the transmission of various polio viruses continues without interruption, while the World Health Organization indicated that the restrictions imposed on vaccination through home visits prevent  without reaching the most vulnerable children.

Earlier, the legitimate government had warned against Iran's continuing restrictions on child immunization programs, and obstructing the implementation of comprehensive vaccination campaigns in Sana'a and the rest of the areas under its control.
