Sana'a, NewsYemen, exclusive:

The kidnapping of the Houthi militia and its sham trial of YouTuber activists in Sana'a (Mustafa al-Mumri, Ahmed Hajar, Ahmed Allaw, Mahmoud al-Misbahi) raised a number of doubts and speculations about the motives behind the case, political messages, implicit threats, and distraction of public opinion.

In terms of timing, the arrest and trial of four Sanaa YouTubers coincides with the state of no peace and no war, the continued flow of oil derivative ships to the port of Hodeidah, and the freezing of the role of the UN envoy, in exchange for the growing role of Omani mediation in Sana'a in negotiations surrounded by secrecy and secrecy.

From this standpoint and the temporal context, activist Imad Ali believes that the Houthi militia wanted to prosecute YouTuber activists in Sanaa, to distract these activists themselves from negotiation issues, specifically the salary and compensation file, and then preoccupy the followers of social media activists and public opinion in general with the issue of kidnapping and trial.

For his part, Twitter activist Amin Muhammad believes that the Houthi militia wanted to prosecute YouTuber activists to drop what it believes to be the last cards of the coalition and the possibility of the latter's ability to inflame the situation internally and stir up public anger, following in the footsteps of Iran's protests against the regime there.

He considered the appearance of YouTuber activists in chains, through the gate of the criminal court and not the press court, as double messages to the coalition and the street in Sana'a with an iron fist for those who think of reproducing the experience of the protests in Iran.

The Houthi militia considered the talk of YouTuber activists in Sana'a about famine, manifestations of poverty, financial and administrative corruption, theft of public money and plundering of land: (false and malicious rumors and provocative propaganda intended to disturb public security and harm the public interest).

In contrast to its practices in 2014 and its talks about the price dose of 500 riyals in the prices of oil derivatives, its closure of the streets and entrances to Sana'a, and its disruption of the work of ministries and state institutions, the militia considered the similar talk of YouTube activists an incitement to chaos (going out to the streets, storming the ministries, paralyzing their function, and not obeying the laws in force) in the context of their accusations against the Sanaa YouTuber Quartet.

Commenting on the kidnapping and trial of YouTuber Sana’a (Al-Momari, Hajar, Alao), communications professor Ibrahim Ismail Al-Kibsi believes that the fault of these activists is disturbing security - who described it - as the mafia of corruption and injustice, disturbing the bliss of the affluent, and disturbing the sleep of the affluent.

Pointing out that the Houthi militia wanted to teach these activists a lesson (so that they would be an example for every honorable free patriot who insults this mafia), and so that the atmosphere and place would clear for them to continue (plundering the country's money, confiscating rights and seizing lands).
