The military axis of the city of Taiz and the military police were not satisfied with disavowing their responsibilities regarding the arrest of the criminal Ghazwan Al-Mikhlafi, and his gang registered as soldiers in the army, but it also sought to thwart and stop the security campaign that was launched nearly eight days ago to arrest the outlaws, headed by Ghazwan and his gang.
On the morning of Monday, October 24, Taiz security announced the killing of "Suhaib", the brother of Ghazwan Al-Mikhlafi, during his resistance to the authorities in the Zaid Al-Mushki area.
On the same day, the security campaign imposed a security cordon on Al-Rawda area and the Zaid Al-Mushki neighborhood, closing schools and stopping transportation in those neighborhoods.
After that, the wanted Ghazwan Al-Mikhlafi appeared in a video recording threatening to avenge his brother's death, and said, "We will show you great hardship and we will strike with an iron hand. Our response will soon be a harsh, decisive and resolute response, and none of you will hide from us."
The appearance of Ghazwan raised the threat posed to him to the maximum degree, which means that all security, military and intelligence formations moved to arrest him. Nevertheless, these leaders continued to play the role of spectator to Ghazwan's movements, while the interventions of the Taiz axis leadership, represented by the brigade advisor and the actual military ruler Abdo Farhan, provoked Questions about why the military police and the axis did not participate in the campaign to seize Ghazwan and his gang, especially since military sources confirm that Ghazwan and his group are soldiers in Brigade 170 D / C and Brigade 22 Mika, all of whom follow the leadership of the axis.
Local and military sources, speaking to NewsYemen, attributed the failure of the military authorities to fulfill their duty to arrest their unruly soldiers and those accused of committing crimes to the kinship link between Ghazwan Al-Mikhlafi, the Brotherhood leader present in Amman, Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi, the commander of the 22nd Brigade, Major General Sadiq Sarhan, and the director of The Political Security Service in Taiz, Abdul Wahed Sarhan
The sources pointed out that the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, controls the governorate militarily, security and politically, which hinders the control of such a requirement as it is one of the leaders of the military wing of the party, adding that if there is seriousness to control Ghazwan and those with him, the military police and the leadership of the axis should move to Seize him and hand him over to justice.
