A desperate attempt by the supervisor of Taiz to recycle the burned Brotherhood papers
English - Tuesday 01 November 2022 الساعة 05:30 pmDespite the revelation that his allegations of an official mandate were false, Dr. Abdul Qadir Al-Junaid continues to play the role of the presidential supervisor charged with saving the situation in Taiz by holding meetings and visits to arrive at an accurate diagnosis of the situation and present his visions for a solution.
“Arranging the Taiz papers.” Under this title, the man published, on Monday, the latest diagnosis and proposed solutions, in which he believes that the problem in Taiz is summed up in two things: the first is “the parties’ desire to get rid of the two cohesive blocs in Taiz, namely the National Army and the Islah Party.
As for the second matter, it is summarized in the lack of harmony between the two cohesive blocs in Taiz and between the neighboring ruling Mocha bloc and the neighboring ruling Aden bloc, alluding to the complicity of the Mocha (National Resistance) and Aden (STC) bloc with the Houthis against Taiz.
Despite the man’s clever attempt to choose his previous statements to impart his position with impartiality and professionalism, and to emphasize the personality of the academic doctor coming from the far north of the globe, with less affiliations and partisan and self-interests, the truth of what he says in the meetings presents another picture.
According to a private source who attended the meeting held by Al-Junaid with the Medical Syndicate, the man clearly presents his biased and supportive view of the position of the Islah (Brotherhood) in Taiz, and his clear hostile stance to the south and the coast.
The man believes that Islah is exposed to a conspiracy with the aim of preventing it from possessing power and turning it into a party in the Yemeni scene, which says that it is divided between 4 parties (Houthis + STC + Tariq Saleh + Hadhramaut), so he sees the need for Taiz to remain in the hands of Islah and even support it.
The man shows his clear hostility to the south and the Transitional Council, as well as to the National Resistance and its leader, Tariq Saleh, who says that he "took his share of the cake and has no right to interfere in Taiz," which he considers Islah's share of the cake.
The source refers to the state of annoyance and anger on the part of the attendees as a result of the man’s management of the meeting, his possession of speech and proposition, and the suppression of the attendance’s attempts to discuss his views, while responding to an attempt by one of the attendees to discuss his words by saying: “You do not understand.”
Al-Junaid's attempt at cleverness provokes ridicule in political circles for his re-enactment of what the Brotherhood has been proposing in Taiz in recent years, which failed miserably, and the province only gained disappointments and enemies and deepened its isolation in its battle against Al-Houthi.
While the events proved that the Mocha and the South blocs were nothing but a depth and a bond for Taiz, they were absurdly antagonized by Islah to serve the projects of the international organization and to exploit the battles of regional countries against the Arab coalition.
