Sana'a, NewsYemen, private:

The terrorist Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, failed in its military escalation, which coincided with the end of the humanitarian truce, last Sunday evening, the second of October, especially after it launched threats against foreign companies at home, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The Iranian arm refused to extend the humanitarian truce sponsored by the United Nations, despite the government’s approval of the extension initiative, which included disbursing the salaries of public sector employees according to the 2014 statements.

Hours after the end of the truce, the militias launched an attack on the government forces’ positions in Taiz, in conjunction with a similar attack on the southern forces’ positions in Al-Dhalea governorate and the city of Al-Hadd in Yafa’ Lahj, and another attack on the joint forces’ positions on the western coast.

All Houthi attacks failed, during which the militias suffered heavy losses, especially the attacks they launched on the fronts north of Al-Dhalea, where the confrontations resulted in the death of prominent Houthi field leaders.

The joint southern forces were able to thwart the militia's attacks on military and civilian sites north of the city, less than an hour after the truce ended.

Violent battles erupted between the two sides that lasted for hours, in which the militias incurred heavy human and material losses, forcing them to launch violent bombardment with various weapons on residential villages.

On the Hadd Yafa frontier, bordering al-Bayda governorate, the Houthi militia tried to penetrate the front after the end of the truce, but the southern forces confronted it and thwarted its attempt to advance and inflicted heavy losses on it.

On the western coast, the joint forces reported that Iran’s arm pushed dozens of its members to try to infiltrate the Hays axis from the south of Al-Jarrahi in the Hodeidah governorate, backed by intense cover of fire, but military units confronted them and forced their members to flee after achieving direct casualties among the infiltrators.

It pointed out that the failed infiltration attempt coincided with intense movements of the militia near the lines of contact along the Hays axis, south of Hodeidah governorate.

In Taiz, the government's Saba news agency quoted the spokesman for the Taiz axis, Colonel Abdul Basit al-Bahr, as saying that the militias tried on Sunday evening - the night of the end of the truce - to infiltrate government forces' positions in Asaifra, north of the city, the Air Defense and Matea' area, west of the city, under artillery cover, but government forces confronted them and forced them to flee after incurring heavy human and material losses.

The failure of the militias did not include only the fronts, but also the attempts to launch ballistic missiles, as media sources and activists spoke about the militias' failure to launch a ballistic missile yesterday.

While violent explosions were heard in Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, but there were conflicting reports about their causes, as sources spoke of a new Houthi failure to launch a ballistic missile, while other sources indicated that an ammunition store exploded in the maintenance camp.
