The looting of Al-Zaraniq lands in the Al-Qusra area is not the whole story of what is happening in terms of bulldozing and extensive confiscation of the lands of the people of Al-Hodeidah.
What's the story then?
In 2014, as one of the residents of Al-Hodeidah, I participated in the funeral of the first martyr from the sons of Tihama in the face of the Iranian project in Yemen, the martyr Ali bin Ali Mazariah, who was killed in a confrontation with a Houthi gang sent by Abdul-Malik to rob 300 square kilometers in the coastal soil area of the Directorate Bagel on the Red Sea coast.
They were confronted by the elders of the Al-Qahra Al-Tahami tribes, and Sheikh Ali bin Ali Mazraa was killed and his brother Marwan Mazariah was wounded, and the Houthi gang was eliminated.
At that time, al-Houthi was seeking to find a foothold in a strategic maritime area in the middle of the ports of Hodeidah and Saleef in order to smuggle weapons shipments, and his dreams were crushed.
So what happened?
Nothing, Al-Houthi's dreams were shattered by the Tuhamis in their first attempt to expand their lands at a time when all the tribes of the north were flocking to Saada to pledge allegiance to the Iranian project.
The Houthis turned against the state, and after years of coup and empowerment through cheap tools from the Tuhami, he was able to make a statistic with all the Tuhamian properties, from “Al-Lahya in the north to Al-Jarrahi in the south.”
And what about the stats?
The militia launched the robbery project from Bagel and it was as follows:
January 2020 Al-Houthi launched the first robbery of hectares of land, and they were able to rob a vast land west of Bajil and north of Marawa, including homes, farms and homes. Unfortunately, this campaign was led by an investigator named Ahmed Dahsous.
February 2020 A Houthi leader named Mufaddal al-Rasas, who came from Hajjah governorate with dozens of Houthi crews, seizes vast areas in the city of Al-Luhayah and its surroundings and claims to have title deeds from Hamid Al-Din's house.
November 2020 Al-Houthi confiscates lands in Al-Jarrahi district with an area of 11,000 square meters.
May 2020 Al-Houthi confiscates 400 square kilometers of citizens' lands and farms in Al-Zaydiyah and Al-Mughlaf districts.
August 2021 Al-Houthi confiscates 13 square kilometers of citizens' lands in the Zahwaniyah area in the Bajil district.
December 2021 Al-Houthi confiscates 200 hostiles in the Marawah District.
December 2021 Al-Houthi confiscates vast lands in the Bab Al-Naqah area in the Bajil District.
May 2022 Abd al-Malik al-Houthi revived an imam ruling issued seventy years ago that confiscated the lands of the city of Hodeidah as state property, and ordered the formation of a committee from its elements to implement the ruling.
June 2022 The Houthi militia confiscates 600 hostile properties of citizens in Wadi Siham in the Bara District.
July 2022 Al-Houthi confiscates 23 citizens' lands in Bait Al-Faqih district.
August 2022 Al-Houthi confiscates the lands of citizens in the Al-Qusra area in the Bait Al-Faqih district and expels the residents.
September 2022 Al-Houthi confiscates 360 returnees from citizens' properties in Zabid district.
September 2022 Al-Houthi confiscates the lands of citizens in Al-Tuhayta District, with an area of 16,500 square meters.
These areas are a small part of what I have been able to track down and track, and there are many incidents of feds, random robbery, and Houthi forced displacement of the people of Tihama along more than 20 districts.
