Southern forces on the outskirts of Mahfad.. Hours to announce Abyan's victory over terrorism

Abyan, NewsYemen:

On Tuesday, the southern forces, as part of their campaign to secure Abyan governorate from terrorist organizations, reached the outskirts of Al-Mahfad District, adjacent to Shabwa.

Military sources in the campaign confirmed that the forces have reached the outskirts of the district, and are preparing in the coming hours to purify it and announce the end of the operation by securing all of the governorate.

In addition, the forces deployed in the districts they entered and set up points, secured property and restored life to the districts that for years had been a haven for extremist groups.

The forces combed the valleys and mountains in the districts of Ahwar, Mudiyah, Lawdar and Al-Wadaya, and deployed their soldiers in all areas, amid wide popular welcome and support.
